Restoring, reimagining, and caring for the historic 9-hole Candler Park Golf Course. Keeping it public, welcoming, and thriving for the next 100 years.
Support The TrustCandler Park Golf Course was donated to the City of Atlanta by Coca-Cola founder Asa Candler. It opened in 1927 specifically so his daughter could play at a time when women were excluded from nearby private clubs.
Today, it remains one of the most casual and welcoming places to play golf in Atlanta—a true "muni" in the best sense of the word.
We don't want to turn Candler Park into a country club. We want to make it the best version of what it already is.
Affordable rates, walkable, and welcoming for first timers, families, and casual play.
Architecturally thoughtful so beginners feel included and better players stay engaged.
Neighborhood kids in the shop. Birthday parties on the patio. Coffee worth walking over for.
Honoring the legacy of Asa Candler’s daughter with programming that gives women ownership.
In the short term, our focus is on making the day-to-day better.
Partnering with the city on a ~$100k renovation to turn the back of the clubhouse into a place people actually want to sit, linger, and host events.
Bringing in local partners to run coffee mornings and casual food offerings that match the neighborhood vibe.
Growing the Candler Park Golf Classic as a signature neighborhood fundraiser.
Building a sustainable future.
